Fished in lafittes cove on friday night in the green lights,and later under the white lights. Started off beautiful and flat, with decent water quality. We lost a few dink trout and pulled in one keeper on lures. Got bored and tossed out shrimp with my two extra rods. From then on, as far as the shrimp goes, we caught only hardheads and stingrays. Kept all the bigger rays cause they taste so darn good. Flipped on the white lights and fished some other green lights. Lost 2 trout upwards of 18 and missed a few hooksets on a gulp shrimp lure. Caught another 2 dinks. Went to try and gig over at pirates cove, water quality was too murky. Headed back, caught some more stingrays and hardheads and dinks, and then the front came though. It got really cold, really windy, and the waves were like 1.5 ft in the bay. Passed out in the car til 10 and headed home because I was still freezing cold and the wind wasn't going to let us make our way to surfside to fish.
