Pictures to follow. Got to Hackberry rod and gun club in hackberry, LA around 6 pm saturday and fished sunday from 6 am to 2 pm-ish. The accommodations were fantastic. Great dinner, a full breakfast, the rooms were amazing, had washer pits and other beach games, and our guide Paul Grindol was top of the line and had us on more fish than any other guide that went out. Had 20 keeper reds and 23 keeper trout by 9 am. Finished with 20 reds and 39 trout. Fish caught on shrimp and plastics. Conditions were cloudy all day, with fog burning off finally around 12 pm. Should have pictures tomorrow.

We had Captain Paul Grindol as our guide on Monday August 18 and as aggiemulletboy said, great accommodations and a super guide. Cptn. Paul was talking about his group on Sunday and what a great fishing trip y'all had. Most of the other guides were a bit jealous of your trip. Paul was a blast to fish with and heck of a knlowledgable guy. BTW, we fished were your group did the day before and ended with 20 reds to 27" and 48 trout to 25", the others were really talking as we left. Good job for your group too. Nice to have fish frying material for our end of summer party thanks to HR&G Club.

Great to hear yall had a blast and got lots of fish speckledred. That spot was definitely killer. Capt. Paul was ragging on me most of the day because I told him I eat mullet, and you should have seen the look on his face when I jokingly told him I forgot to slip a hardhead or two into the fishbox for him to clean haha. I'm sure if I had said that on boat I would have been overboard.

I saw your pics on the Hackberry site but they didn't post us, bummer. Capt. Paul was a riot. My guys were all a bit thick skinned and the barbs were flying, LMAO. Great place to fish. Dipsay, you got ot fish there at least once.
