Alright, I know ya'll haven't heard much from me in a while, but, it's time to start getting your gear ready for some night time fun. No KILO, not that kind of "fun". I'm talking about UTL "Under The Lights". Look for the BLUE / Green water to start making its way back near the last week of April! Get those lights and generaters in good working order........TH

Yep, that haul was on 5-12-05. Love being out there at night. Get a limit before Midnight, then another limit after Midnight and I verified that with TPWD. For those that haven't been out there with us at night, well, you don't know what you're missing! Sorry for the bad picture, it was taken with a PalmPilot at night, no flash. FishinHippie sure can make yardbird taste good at Midnight!

By the way, my goto bait is the 3" Storm Swimming Shad followed by DOA type Shrimp when the Sargasm Seawweed comes in. I'm sworn to secrecy on my other baits!

I definitely want to hook up on some of this night fishing on the jetties, be sure and post up before you go! I don't have any lights or generator but if I had to I might be able to scare something up.

TH, Vermilho is itchin too. CT you dont need lights. If there are several of us going then there is plenty of room under the lights for ev one...! :thumb:

Been there. Done that. Great fun. Let me know when y'all are going again. Looks like I will be retiring by the end of June and be able to fish on Wednesdays 'stead of just Sat & Sun.
Best wishes,

I can't wait - currently building me a jetty rig (question - what kinda of lights do ya'll use ... and how much light is needed) have a generator (rated 4000w) and big heavy duty wagon that I'm customizing. It will be nice to meet everybody.

Hey ya'll,
Bring your Geny's to Carters outdoor power equipment in Angleton across from GOE Kawa/Harley on 288B. We work on most Geny's and just about anything else that uses gas. We'll get 'em ready for the long season ahead.
Sorry about the plug, but knowing it runs :thumb: beats the hell out of hoping it runs:noidea: any day of the week!
Thanks,
CC

SQUIDLY, These are photos of my first setup. I use 8" GE or Silvania 1000 watt Very Narrow Spot Lights. I have modified it by discarding the lower 500 watt lights and added an additional canned light incase one blows out while I'm fishing. I will normally use only one 1000 watt light for clear water and two if water visability is low. The cans are 8 qt galvanized buckets found at most hardware stores. If you have any question please PM me..........TH
