Havn't seen any post about SB lately. Planning to head down there in the morning with some buddies and was hoping someone had posted. Wonder what's the water looking like. If someone is up late, please let me know, i'll check the forum in the morning before i leave. Otherwise i'll post my results when i get back.

Let us know how you do. I will be fishing the San Bernard next week.

went out there last weekend. didn't have much luck, possibly from the clear sky and full moon most of the week. tried a few holes w/ redmaster. came home with 1 red, 1 speck, 2 sheepsheads, and one croaker. talked to a couple of other people when we were loading the boat, and their luck was worse than ours.

Whoa Boy.... was thinking hard whether to post my results or keep my mouth shut.

Launch by ICW and ran way south on the ICW to a couple of spots last Thursday at sunrise. Caught an outgoing tide and fished my favorite spots.

caught well over 100 Specks (NO BULL!!!!), 10 rat reds, 4 sheepshead (one buddy insisted on using dead shrimp), 3 drum (1 26") and a stingray from my honeyholes.

The three of us managed to keep 26 trout that were over the 16" minimum limit we set ourselves. Most were ~14-15" with 2 hitting 20". All Reds were between 14-18" :frown: and were released. Was praying like crazy for just one over 20" but never happened.

Bait: 1/8" lead jig heads with: Pumpkin seed minnow w/ chartreuse tail, red and white bass assassin, bright green fleck 2" grub and flesh colored minnow w/ red flecks. We just kept switching the between these 4 whenever the bites slowed down. oh and the odd dead shrimp which caught the majority of the small red, sheepshead and stingray.

if it weren't for the deer huntin...i'd be back every weekend!
