If you can't get to the coast then this is the next best thing right now.

She's already wanting to go wading. I took her off Mosquito Island but she got more intersted in playing with a friend. I need to take her back with just me. She's just not tall enough though to hit that drop off there. I need to get her in one of those wading tubes or a small yak that she can sit on while I stand on the side.

My other option is to look for a calm day that I can take her to the surf and maybe put her just off the first gut to about just below waist deep for her.

thats probably your best alternative tagen. you would be amazed how many fish are caught while standing shin deep and fishing the first gut.

Take her to one of the small jetties that run into the sea along Seawall Blvd. There is one in particular straight across from the old #### ##### which holds a ton of fish. The secret is there are tons of rocks under the water instead of sand which holds a lot of baitfish on this stretch of beach. Hardly anyone goes there and the rocks are flat on top so it is easy walking. Believe me, she will catch fish, stay dry, and have a great time. I'll pm ya the GPS coordinates.
