Went for another ride down to the cedar lakes. This time I set up in one of the channels of the lake, and used strictly artificials. For once, the plan worked. I strung 3 and my wife strung 1, and I lost several under my nose, as did my wife. The ol' trout headshake got us both!!
Fishing started slow, but picked up as the tide started to move in. Those mullet were jumping!! I was amazed that I could catch fish with artificials in such dirty water. The bait of choice was very dark (roach?) TTK with chartruese tails.
