Albino white tail deer!

My dad sent this too me(daddy dipsay). His buddy found this little feller crossing highway over by Bolivar pennensula. Poor thing almost got hit right in front of him. A newely born true albino white tail deer! No momma was around so he picked it up and took it home. It readily took to a bottle and followed him around the house. He called the Zoo and Fossil rim, but they were gonna take it to a vet that he wasnt fond of. After serious consideration they called a friend that was a game warden. He assured them that he wouldn't take it to that vet, and that the deer would be well taken care of. This is such a rare event. Only 1 in way more than a million are ever born. And even fewer make it very long because of preditors. To see one is a once and a lifetime event. Just thought I'd share it with ya.

I shot a white deer this year. It was a Fallow Deer, though. They grill up nice wrapped in bacon.

Aww... So Cute! I wonder where the mama is? I dont know if deer will turn a baby away if it is not the right color. But the little thing is sure like the bright beem of a head light to be noticed by anything that would be its enemy!
