6:00am at Buc-ee's............Launch S.S. Moonpie from Ernie's Bait Barn shortly thereafter
Theme of the day was "Variety Meat"........know your species of fish.
Felt the tug of a mini Texas Slam .....Specks, Reds, Flounder........and a slew more Whiting, Black Drum, Sheephead,Stingrays and Birdglove .....and with all the lips we yanked....not one fish complained of being in pain.......PETA 's lyin.
Was really a great day on the bays with El Capiton LunaTarta......started off as a fishun trip.....included a bonus of a catchin trip and a 3 hour tour.(i got to be Gilligan.....Moonpie was the Skipper). Went on down in Drum Bay....Rattlesnake pt......around the Inner Coastal up into and Bastrop Bay...Was wonderin what Bayhouse Baylvr was watchin sunrises from.....then back to Titlum.....................
Said domo agrigato and muchas gracias to Moonpie.....back at Ernies......then had me a good beach drive back to surfside with a pit stop and photoshoot at the slab ...found some good sticks and other beach flotsam and jetsum goo-gaws.......walked to the end of Surfside jetty.............Took a moment to smell the Surfside Blubonnets.....then stopped by 13 Palms and quoted 2 verses of shakesphere off the balcony.
