Went down to drift Bastrop yesterday. It was a little windy but still doable. I was fishing with a New Pennie Gulp under a rattle cork caught 5 trout only two small keepers. My boy was using a white with chartruese tail soft plastic under a cork and caught 2 reds and two trout, only one red was a keeper 22" his trout were throw backs. The third fellow with us, well lets just say he had a nice boat ride and leave it at that. WE got a lot of strikes but just couldn't hook up on many maybe next time.
