Me and my buddy did a little evening kayak excursion last night. Got to the water at 5:15 and starting drifting with gold spoons till sun-set. picked up a couple rat reds and watched the sun set. We then worked our way along the piers.
First pier had a green light underwater but no activity there.
Second pier had about 3000+ watts pointed into the water and the trout were there! released several 15"-16" along with a dozen dinks. buddy even managed to catch a 10" flattie for his dink slam. But I managed to catch one more thing.
The owner of the pier was a little short on cigs. We thanked him for letting us paddle around under his lights with a few smoke and the plastic we were catchin the fish with. He thanks us with a nug! :D :D :D
