I guess you could say I'm making a wish list, but I was checking out boat package's and came across a site way out of state and was blown away.

This dealership is way up in Virgina so I'm not spaming, just something to campare prices to.

http://www.edsmarinesuperstore.com/caroskif.htm

I'm a keep it simple kind of guy and the Carolina Skiff 2180 for $16 K NEW, was deffinitly in my price range.

It comes completly rigged with motor and trailor.

I wanted to get the low down and gave them a call and asked about putting a Suzuki 4 stroke on it since they currently come with a 6 year Wrnty.

He said It would be a $1000 dollars Cheaper!:eek2:

Well when it comes time I, plan on using his prices to compare with somthing a little closer to home, but with todays prices and rigs that cost way over $30K, its nice to see the working man can still get into something affordable and new.

BTW
Check out his prices on just outboards, some of the cheapest I'v seen.

CAROLINA SKIFF 2180 DLX FACTORY PRE-RIG

PERFORMANCE BULLETIN
F 115 HP 4-STROKE EFI YAMAHA GALVANIZED SKIFF TRAILER $16,000

Since your in the neighborhood, go ahead and pick me up two. One for the lake and one for the bay.

Same boat was 20,000 with 115 Etec at the Boat Show. Watch those Factory Pre rig deals though doesn't always include everything you might expect it to.

You know

You could simply use his pricing to get a local dealer to come off his price.

or

Pay a company to bring the boat to texas....fyi to move a car from houston to atlanta it only cost $500 bucks on a trailor.

You could proably pay a little more than that to have a boat shipped to you.

And you would only need to worry about local tax's since it was out of state.

well I got the low down on what the guy out in VA sells

1st - It does not come with a prop or a battery
so add about $400 for those 2

2nd - If you go way out there to buy one, it will cost you $300 bucks to get a paper plate to drive it from the dealership.

3rd- there is another item that I was told will cost you, but I forgot it allready.

BUT

There is a local dealer that gets you dialed in with a simular package but throws in the prop, battery, live well and even comes with a E-Tech with a 6-7 yr warrenty for $16,600.

I will not post their name Since you got pay to be an advertiser here but, if you really are in the market, PM me and i will get you the info.
