I'm looking for something to use in bay and light surf, like maybe a Heritage Featherlite Angler. Needs to be 11 ft.in length or shorter.

Good surf kayaks regularly are bought and sold at this site.

Cobra kayaks are excellent surf kayaks. Malibu as well.
I do not reccommend the featherlite by Heratige!! not a good kayak for fishing. Unstable and low weight capacity.

Thanks for the advice. Do you know if there is a Cobra or Malibu model under 11 ft?

I have a Mainstream Tango. Length 11'-9" Width 33 1/2" Max load 400# large scuppers, two seater w two seats, can be used single in mid position. http://www.mainstreamkayaks.com/boats/sitontopkayaks/pages/tango.html
Used only two or three times on beach where I learned I'm not a kayak person.
Have kayak, 2 back rests and paddle - $500 firm new it is $699 + paddle
