Well today my better half ( and scouting partner ) Cindy caught her first keeper flounder.She has caught plenty big trout and redfish, but not a legal size flounder until today.She has been bugging me to take her flounder fishing so she could catch a keeper, instead of chasing ole yellow mouth all the time.Capt Ken Sabin " Noo Noo " jumped on board once he heard the word flounder as his mouth was watering at the thought of a big saddle blanket.We had 7 flounder to 5 lbs and kept 10 trout to 4lbs.Both Ken and I only like to keep enough trout for a fresh meal, but flounder are a little harder to release once you get that taste in your mouth.
Fisrt pic is of her first keeper a 19 incher.Second pic is of a 22 in 5lb that she caught a little later.

That's some nice flat fish there ! Congrats to your better half on the first keeper flounder.

Mrschasintail,I have not got my new boat yet.I'm still trying to sell my 05.That boat is awsome.I'm going to build another one like it but change a few things up.You and Brian need to hook up w/ me and Cindy so we can go on a little scouting trip, if ya know what I mean!

I'm so sorry!!!!! I had a brain fart.You can hit me next time we see each other.Better than that, I'll let Dennis hit me.He is quite a bit thicker than me and I probably will feel it for a couple of days.I just got through working 84 hrs at the plant and then fishing, so I'm kinda zombiefied right now.Peace Out!!
