I took an old buddy that doesnt get to fish much & his friend who is new to salt water to trinity this morning. The storms stayed away but gave a good show. We caught many many undersized a couple about 20" and several @ 15". Started near the ship channel spoils and did fair early. Nodda on any wells. Then ended the day with 2 hours of bird fishing. I smashed the barb on my jig since most were small. I usually dont mess with these fish, but since these guys hadnt been out and were learning I let them have fun!
