Wading Kemah

My brother and I recently lost our go to wadefishing spot by the pass where all the houses/condos are going in and were looking for some new spots to wade at...we don't have a boat so we are limited to spots that are accessible on foot. Any suggestions/directions would be appreciated (even if the spots aren't in Kemah).

just pass the bait camps to the left on Texas City dike.shell and hard bottom.

Skyline Dr. Off of the Texas City Dike is a good wading spot by foot. Drive down by the flood gate. From the Texas City Dike all the way down to the flood gate is really good fishing during the warmer months. The area by Seawolf park is good too, especially in October and November during the fall flounder run. Don't overlook the surf this time of year also, when the surf is flat it can be awesome there too. Hope this helps a little bit.

Txspeck,...unless it has changed recently, you can still access those flats and gut on the bayside of SLP from under the bridge about where the toll booth is.
