sorry for the late report. Headed out last Saturday with my brother and a friend in search of pelagics. Our origonal destination was the German Charlie area, but came across a rip at about 26 miles. Trolled for a while, got bit off by a small hoo, and caught one 5lb schoolie dolphin. Weeds were starting to form on the rip so we fished some of the larger clumps, using a large amount of chum thanks to the chum churn. We ended up fishing most of the day in that general area boxing around 30 dolphins, most of them solid schoolies in the 4-5lb range with one gaffer at around 10-12lbs. fished Tall rock after that for 3 limits of kings. Saw one nice sized hoo that would not bite and had about a 100lb spinner shark break us off after going airborne. Was potlicked by a 8-10' bottle nosed dolphin at the weed clumps. That was an awesome sight.

Water was dingy green to 15 miles, blue green to 30. Nice day on the water.

This weekend is starting to look pretty bumpy with a discouraging amount of T-strorms thrown in.
