Conditions were like ice cream as we use to call it, fishing on some shrimper hangs we use to tear up nets on when i was a kid riding with gramps on the big boat

That ray had to litteraly "take a while" to get in!!!! Thats what I call a "wear you out" fish :smile: Thats litterally like trying to pull in a log that pulls back :frusty:

Theres been so many wahoo caught recently, and big ones at that. Would you mind telling us how and what you were using to catch that big'n?

Thanx all of ya , the hoo had been following us back to the point every time we drifted off of it and had to motor back , we had tried every bait we had , and lures etc to no avail, A snapper flouncing in the water floating off was hit hard by the hooand it just exploded,, and then the hoo was run off by the bottles and the bottles took the snapper , right after that the hoo hit a thread herring free lineing behind the boat for snapper we had called up in 94 feet of water ,in rocky conditions
