tuesday am surf action

hit the surf this am and the conditions (water, wind, color) were about as good as they get, with exception of good tide movement. Only problem was the lack of specs. Plenty of jacks, whiting and only 4 specs. But they were fat specs up to 18-20 inches.

Thanks for the report JT!! Watchin my webcams from my office desk... about drove me out of my mind. Knowing I'm hitting the pier Wed afternoon/nite was my only savior. I found quite consistantly, if you can pick your days for the pass, get the 5-7 up to a full or new moon so you get at least a foot of tidal movement.
However even the best day at work only took 1 day of my life.. while my worst day fishin still added a year back to it! Go when you can, pick em when its possible.
